Know about changes to election law in Wales

Did you know that for the next UK Parliamentary and Police and Crime Commissioner elections, anyone who wants to vote at polling station will need to show photo ID?

There are a number of forms of acceptable ID such as a passport, driving licence, blue badge, an older person’s bus pass and more https://orlo.uk/cHrFs

If you don’t have one of these forms of ID, you can make sure you are ready to vote and don’t lose your chance to have your say in the election by applying for a free Voter Authority Certificate here https://orlo.uk/wETwR

You can also apply in person by contacting the Electoral Services Office:

📩 Email: [email protected]
☎ Tel: 029 2087 2087 or by
📫 Post: Print and fill in the paper form available here https://orlo.uk/cEcL8 and send it to:

Electoral Services
Room 263, County Hall,
Atlantic Wharf,
Cardiff
CF10 4UW

❗ This new rule does not apply for Senedd and local government elections in Wales.
